Blues fall 2-0 in Austria
My piece in MARCA
It was an afternoon to forget for Chelsea on Saturday as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Rapid Vienna in the first game of Antonio Conte's tenure at the club.
Granted, it wasn't a full-strength XI for the Blues, but they still had the likes of Diego Costa, Willian, Nemanja Matic and John Terry in the starting line-up and would have been expected to fare better against such opponents.
They fell behind to a 19th minute goal from Joelinton and Conte's side couldn't get back in to the game, the result ultimately being sealed by Tomas Correa's strike seven minutes from time.
