These are heady times indeed for new Barcelona signing Samuel Umtiti who didn't put a wrong when called upon to start as France overcame World Champions Germany to make the final of the European Championship on Thursday night.

Adil Rami will be available again for Sunday's decider against Portugal but after the former Lyon defender's display there is every chance he'll get the nod again in the heart of the French defence.

Umtiti's brother Yannick was interviewed by RAC1 on Friday and was over the moon at how things have been moving for his sibling.

"He had a great game, he was so composed and we're delighted for him," he said.

"What a week, it's like a dream; playing for Barcelona is a dream come true for him and to make the final with France is a brilliant achievement.”

Standing in the youngster's way on the path too glory is a man he's going to become very familiar with when he pulls on the Azulgrana shirt next season.

”It's no problem for Sam to come up against Cristiano Ronaldo, it'll be great for him and a real preparation for El Clasico."
